“The only word to capture these sounds is moving….”

Ground breaking and bag breaking, Malloy is really on to something righteous here!”–Chris Specter- Midwest Records
A sound that is pretty rare in the dubstep scene, I feel like the mix of acoustic elements with the well-crafted heavy bass music was meant to be together, it is simply brilliant…. The result is a unique, yet accessible bass music opus that will even please the non dubstep listeners.-Eric Roberts- EKM.CO
“Spirituality is a ten-part tone poem composed and arranged by Malloy. Malloy funnels the themes of Coltrane and Simone into simple etheric themes that operate in a mantra-like manner. Malloy is no Miles Davis acolyte. While adopting the master’s use of space and silence, Malloy opts for the piercing tone of Freddie Hubbard, tempered with Lee Morgan and Donald Byrd. Malloy’s solos bristle with energy and a tone like bullets hitting a bell.”C. Michael Bailey-All About Jazz
“Donald Malloy is emerging in the rich tradition of the jazz trumpet from a 21st century perspective befitting his generation. Ample evidence suggests that Donald Malloy is on track to be a significant contributor to the music for many years to come.” Willard Jenkins- Tri-C Jazz Fest
